Official Website of the Cottage Grove Gryphons
December 12, 2007 -  --

Welcome to the official website of the Cottage Grove Gryphons. The Gryphons are a new minor league football team located in Lane County Oregon. We will be playing our home games at the new High School Stadium in Cottage Grove, Oregon.

The Gryphons are members of the Western Conference of the North American Football League (NAFL). As the NAFL continues to grow, we are proud to be part of the NAFL family in their quest to unite all of minor league football under a single banner. While each team has different missions, we all have one goal; to win the NAFL National Championship.

The Gryphons are an adult amateur team and do not pay its players. Players maintain their amateur status and NCAA eligibility. Our goal is to provide an outlet to allow athletes to continue playing football after high school or college for fun, or to develop their skills in order to obtain college football scholarships or move on to a professional team in the Arena, Canadian, or NFL leagues.

We are excited about the prospects of the upcoming season and look forward to building a playoff-caliber, national powerhouse football team here in Lane County.
